BIOGRAPHY

I became inspired to start practising in the visual arts from 1998 as a result of my travels through Northern Europe in mid-1997 as a musician. On returning to Melbourne from overseas, I began working in the field of photography and large scale drawing until exhibiting my work for the first time in August 1999.

Branching out into sculpture and painting, I have shown my works widely throughout Victoria and Melbourne in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Winning my first painting and sculpture awards in 2003, I consider that, as a self-taught artist, I am on my own personal path whereby my works are predominatly autobiographical and atuned to my inner mindscape.

I still relish in dictating my own challenges and goals towards their outcomes and hope to remain prolific in all my chosen media.
